Background
Green Chemistry consists of chemicals and chemical processes designed to reduce or eliminate negative environmental impacts. The use and production of these chemicals may involve reduced waste products, non-toxic components, and improved efficiency. Green chemistry is a highly effective approach to pollution prevention because it applies innovative scientific solutions to real-world environmental situations.Green technologies are required essentially to protect our environment from pollution. Some of the issues for protection of environment includes Biodegradation of polymers, Recycling and Reuse of plastics, Water treatment, Rubber recycling, Nano-materials toxicity, Ionic Liquids, Green Chemistry and Green Technology, Green House Gases, Renewable resources etc. All of these newer fields of green technology leading to greener environment need to be given special emphasis and require exchange of knowledge and discussion forum, where the strategies for future research can be formulated. Therefore, GTGE 2010 is being organized by Department of Chemistry, Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut. This conference will provide opportunities to interact with Academician, Scientists, Engineers and Industry personnel’s.
Invitation
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Conference we invite you to participate in the conference & present your work during the Poster/Oral sessions of the conference.
Scientific Programme
The conference will focus on new developments in the field of Green Technology. The scientific programme will include Key-note address, invited lectures and contributed papers (oral & poster; mostly to be presented in poster session). The poster sessions will be strongly emphasized since they have been found to stimulate the closer interaction.
